The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassador committee held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Lake Havasu Republican Women’s Club (LHRW) to celebrate its new Chamber membership.  LHRW was founded in 1970. It provides scholarships for senior girls who have displayed support for our community, food for the hungry, and adopts over 100 forgotten seniors at Christmas time. LHRW supports many community groups through our Caring for America. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room. Attending the ceremony from left to right were Janina Robertson, Carol Pruett, Georgette LeGrande, Gaynell Grews, Judy Plata, Joan Dzuro, Christy Carls, Nita Gervais, Susan Fritch, Toni Hellenberg, Barbara Bacon, Maureen Furman, Jackie Joyce, Ruth Mock and Kathy Baumer.
