The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Hospice of Havasu to celebrate its 40^th Anniversary! Founded in 1982, Hospice of Havasu is the only not-for-profit hospice in the Lake Havasu City Area. Hospice of Havasu owns and operates The Polidori House to provide 24-hour care to patients who need it, and also provides respite care. Hospice of Havasu never turns anyone away who qualifies for hospice care, regardless of financial or insurance situation, and provides grief and caregiver support to the community, free of charge. Attending the ceremony from left to right were Lisa Krueger, Ross Johnson, Elaine Cullen, April Kimball, Sarah Messmer, Michelle Gardia, Joni Renzi, Jenny Tocker, Candie Caviness, Cristina Hurtado, Linda Berry, Patricia Quon, Scott Taylor, Cathy Wesley, Andrea Foote, Dawn Horsager and Gene Apedaile.
