The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Havasu Rocks & Lapidary Shop to celebrate the grand opening of its new shop located at 320 London Bridge Rd., inside the Lake Havasu Museum of History building. The Lake Havasu Mineral & Lapidary Group is a non-profit club along with the Lake Havasu Gem & Mineral Society. The Lapidary shop is used to cut, grind & polish rocks into art and jewelry. Cutting the ribbon for the ceremony is Mike Bamsch along with Chamber Ambassadors Elaine Cullen, Janina Robertson, Dawn Hansen, Christy Behrens and club members including Chuck Davis, Terry Handcock, Sandie Willis, Rick Kerber and others.
