36th annual Chamber of Commerce Winterfest Street Festival has been cancelled due to the rise in COVID-19

The Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Staff have made the difficult decision to cancel the 36th Annual Winterfest Street Festival which was set to take place February 20- 21, 2021. The Lake Havasu Chamber is the official source of information for its signature event.

Winterfest, in the past, has drawn crowds of 25,000 plus visitors and locals to the festival. The event has featured hundreds of craft, information, commercial and food vendors nestled on McCulloch Boulevard between Acoma Boulevard and Smoketree Avenue.

Arizona has a current rate of 1 in 5 residents testing positive for COVID-19. The safety of our residents and visitors outweighs any gains from moving forward with the event. This decision will result in a substantial revenue loss for the organization and the community, however, there is no foreseeable way to safely run an event of this magnitude without jeopardizing volunteers, residents and visitors.
