The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Mohave Community College, celebrating the expansion and upgrade of four college programs completed during the summer. The renovations will provide advanced and technology-enhanced instruction to students this fall semester. The Surgical Technology Program received the most overhauled classroom by moving from a 1,292 sq. ft. space to its own 3,000 sq. ft. building. A state-of-the-art classroom with smart technology, and two operating rooms with a new laparoscopic tower and supporting instrumentation. Attending the ribbon cutting from left to right were Barry Tuberman, Rayma Keka, Michelle Schmidt, Ashley Bartosiewicz, Paula Norby, Michael Kearns, Phyllis Smith, Dan Lara, Gloria Askland, Evie Cistaro, Mike Patterson, Kathy Hodel, Jim Childe and Linda Sugamele.
