The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Starline Elementary School celebrating its Kid City event. Kid City is an event held once a year that provides staff and students in the accelerated learning program at Starline Elementary the opportunity to participate in a real world simulation project. Kid City becomes a small town where students take over adult roles serving as professionals in the community such as bankers, police officers, and merchants.
