Booster Luncheons Provide No Cost Training

Business Booster Luncheons Offer No Cost Training

There are several benefits, products and services offered to the members of the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce that bring added value to membership. One of those are the periodic Business Booster Luncheons.

These luncheons feature a Chamber member who has expertise in a particular area who then shares that knowledge with other members. For example, recent events featured Randy Brusso of Mohave Shred, who spoke on new federal HIPPA requirements and document destruction; and Jessica Reed of Kinetic Marketing for Social Media, who instructed the group on the basics of Facebook.

The message at the luncheons is not a sales pitch from the speaker but an opportunity for members to help members grow their businesses and organizations. Future luncheon topics include workplace wellness programs in September and computer training in December.

There is no charge for Chamber members to participate in the luncheons and they receive priority seating, which is limited to 25 per event. Lunch is provided by either the presenter or the Chamber. General admission is $5.

The Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce, with 700 members employing over 20,000 area residents, is northwest Arizona’s leading advocate for business. For more information on this or any other Chamber program, please call 928-855-4115, visit www.havasuchamber.com or www.facebook.com/havasuchamber.
