The Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City celebrating its 30 year anniversary as a Chamber member. Attending the ribbon cutting from left to right were Kathy Baumer, Carlene Howard, Pat Wells, Trish Haslam, Vanessa Liesen, Nancy Bellomy, Bev Stephens, Barb Adams, and Laura Prahl. Soroptimist International is a worldwide service organization for women. The Lake Havasu location was founded in 1971 and is happy to celebrate 42 years of making a difference in the lives of women and girls in this community through scholarships, health education and self-esteem workshops.
