The Kiwanis Club of Lake Havasu City celebrated 25 years as Chamber members with the Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors at a ribbon cutting ceremony. In Lake Havasu City, Kiwanis provides funds and manpower for a number of programs including the Toys for Tots Program in conjunction with the US Marine Corps League. The Club also sponsors the Key Club at the High School and supports projects such as the Food Bank, elementary school reading, Stick-Em, child car-seat programs, college scholarships, Project Graduation and as well as many more. Attending the ribbon cutting from left to right are; Tom Otero, Ambassador, Kelly Orseno, Art Tolis, Cindy Medina, Kristy Wakulinski, Madison Loya, Wendy Moore, Tina Bonsang, Mike Carr, Jeni Coke, Kristal Jacob, Mondo Contla, Rich Miers, Hal Christiansen, Julie Birchett, Deb Des Chene, Patty Groth, Kiwanians and Monica Hall, Ambassador. The club meets at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room Thursdays at Noon, guests welcome.
