Ribbon Cutting-Food Bank Annex

Herb Carr Memorial Interagency Food Bank Annex

Mrs. Jeanie Carr was the guest of honor on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Herb Carr Memorial Interagency Food Bank Annex located at 2385 N. Pima Dr. Jeannie’s late husband Herb Carr, a former Kiwanis member was one of the founders of the food bank. Herb’s son Mike Carr was also on hand as well as Howard Weiske, food bank volunteer, Betty Christenberry, wife of the late Chris Christenberry a food bank volunteer, Rich Miers, Interagency Council Executive Director, Lake Havasu Kiwanis members and the Lake Havasu Area Chamber Ambassadors. The annex will serve as a 3,200 square foot storage place replacing the existing 400 square foot unit used to store food bank items.
