Chamber Offers “Soaring Towards Business Success” Workshops

The Lake Havasu Chamber of Commerce, along with Mohave State Bank, is sponsoring a series of afternoon workshops that are designed to give people the tools and information they need to meet the challenges of successfully growing their businesses. Classes are $15 per session, or $35 for all three sessions. The workshops will be held at the London Bridge Resort, from 3-7pm on the following dates:

• Wednesday, December 3 – “Motivating in Tough Times
• Wednesday, January 7 – “Diversity in the Workplace”
• Wednesday, March 4 – “Dealing With Difficult People”

The presentations will be given by Patty Gillmore, an expert in professional training and development. Patty comes highly recommended, having worked with many local businesses.
Below are just a few of the testimonials she’s received:

“P&G Consulting facilitated an exceptional teambuilding & customer service seminar for our company. Patty captivated & impacted our staff to strive to make a more pleasant experience for our customers & a more positive team environment for all of our members. P&G Consulting provides valuable messages & tools that carry into the workplace & we are already planning the next training!”
Katrina Borg, GM Sound Solutions by Advanced Wireless Inc, Your local Sprint Dealer.

“Patty Gilmore provided customer service training to our organization over a period of time. She covered many aspects of customer service with our employees. The employee feedback was very positive. The training was provided on site reducing the time associated with travel and making it very convenient.”
Chief Dan Doyle, Lake Havasu City Police Department

I’ve had the pleasure of attending several of Patty’s classes and have found them to be informative, thought provoking and entertaining. Patty is always prepared to present her course material and is fully knowledgeable in all aspects of the subject matter. Many times in classes such as these, the experience level of the attendees varies widely. Patty spends the time to instruct the ones who have had no, or limited, exposure to the subject, while keeping the more
experienced attendees engaged. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to attend her class, and look forward to future attendance on my own behalf.
