The Lake Havasu Museum of History unveiled Lake Havasu City Broadcast History exhibit to be displayed until March 2009. The exhibit is in honor of Mr. Steven Greeley, owner of radio stations KJJJ and KNTR. Also recognized was KNLB and Murphy Broadcasting stations KRCY, KZUL and KRRK owned by Rick L Murphy. The radio stations acknowledged are all licensed to Lake Havasu City with towers on Crossman Peak and 510 N. Acoma Boulevard.
The exhibit holds station ownership information, pieces of radio memorabilia, radio antennas, tower lights, and more from the original KFWJ, Havasu’s first radio station, to today’s radio conglomeration. Pieces of the exhibit were donated by Mr. Steven Greeley and Mr. Rick L Murphy.
